2. Here's my comparison:
Jesus Christ: Speaker of the Truth of all time and my personal Main Man.
Martin L. King: Bravest man of the 50's and 60's, never backed down from what he knew is right.
Ken Lay: Thief.

6. Does he think he was murdered too???????
"He was taken out of the world right at the right time,"
Yeah, just before the gov't could have seized his assets!!!

Christ and King stood for peace...Lay stood for stealing a big piece!

8. 'he's not in a position anymore to be whipped by his enemy'
"He did have a strong faith in God and I know he's in heaven, and I'm glad he's not in a position anymore to be whipped by his enemy," Herrold said.

Even in death they will not take responsibility.

with Martin Luther King. If there be Heaven, holy hell would break out.

12. more Disgusting Quotes
**My comments

Enron founder Kenneth Lay
David Herrold, Lay's stepson: "I am angry because of the way that he was treated in the last five years of his life ... and I'm feeling a lot of joy ... He had a lot of loving friends ... He did have a strong faith in God, and I know he's in heaven. And I'm glad he's not in a position any more to be whipped by his enemy."

Reverend Dr. William Lawson: "He reached out to touch many people from many backgrounds ... many economic levels ... that included minorities like me."

"Ken Lay was neither black nor poor, but I'm angry because Ken Lay was a victim of a lynching."

"The folks who don't like him have had their say. I'd like to have mine ... (Like Jesus Christ) he was crucified by a government that mistreated him."

** He was crucified for his involvement in a crime, Jesus was not a criminal:puke:

Ray Phillips, Lay's brother-in-law: "I cried when he was falsely convicted. One thing I know is he was innocent. Ken always took the high road and looked for the best in everyone."

** Yeah, like telling his employees to keep buying stock, even though he was ditching his, that really is taking the High Road!:grr:

"My entire family suffered a severe financial loss. Not one of us blamed Ken because we know he did everything he could to keep it from happening."

Mick Seidl, longtime friend: "Overzealous federal prosecutors have vilified an exceedingly good man ... They did so without visible efforts to seek the truth, and the media piled on. It was total character assassination ... I do know Ken would never intentionally do anything illegal."

** Obviously didn't know Kenny Boy very well

Reverend Steve Wende, pastor at First Methodist Church of Houston which Lay attended: Lay was "in many ways a great hero to me."

"At the height of his power and position ... he used the position to lift others up."

** Lifted up the people with the power and position to benefit his hunger for GREED

16. J.C.? MLK?
Don't you remember how Mr. Lay died for our sins? How he redeems us all into eternity? How he fought for the rights of others? I mean, he fought for the right of employees and customers to be bilked out of millions. He fought for the right to have rolling blackouts. He fought for the right to keep millions in his bank account. Finally, he fought for the right for his relatives to inherit his estate. Restitution for victims. Ha! Pooh, pooh! Pooh, pooh I say!:sarcasm:

18. The church went all out for this,
paid for cops to protect the family, paid for parking meters with the right to have cars towed from city streets. Geez. Imagine what they'd do if Jesus showed up...which he's not likely to do there, except to throw out the money changers.

It seems so many "church leaders, pastors, spokesman and just general fundy wing-nuts" conveniently forget Christ , in his only act of anger and violence, threw the money changers out of the temple....

yeah, I'm bettin too, his church got a nice "donation"....

at least prostitutes know what they are....
