DU Hypocrisy: No Criticism of Israel Allowed

Why is it that you can't criticize Israel in this forum? A thread expressing outrage over the invasion of Lebanon by Israel was locked.

This is total hypocrisy. I thought people at DU were supposed to be better than this.

You condemn Bush and co. for censorship, but you censor criticism when criticism is due. Are you afraid that condemning Israel will be seen as anti-Semitism? If so, you are cowards. You say you have a special thread for this, but that is just an excuse.

I realize that this thread will probably be locked, and I don't care. I realize that I might be kicked out of DU for this, if so, kick me out. But if Democrats cant criticize Israel, than we are no different than the Republicans. Shame on DU.

The thread you reference wasn't locked, it was moved to the proper forum.
