2. I have seen this guy's writings and rantings elsewhere
I also believe he posts on a small, obscure and inane group that calls themselves "annoyed" something.

To pull a Pete. That really hits it on the head.

10. It's the ol' fool falling schtick.
Fool falls on his ass.
Fool is embarassed someone saw him.
Fool claims he meant to fall.
Fool 'proves' it by falling again.

Almost nothing is more predictable than damned fools proving they're fools and repeatedly falling for it.

12. Now, now. In all fairness, the Onion probably didn't put their
:sarcasm: tag on the article, so how was poor Pete supposed to know?

13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I love Pete Townshend, so I wouldn't want to lend his name to anything demeaning! Or what about Peter Gabriel or Peter Frampton or, heck, Peter Rabbit!

I don't care if that idiot blogger's name is Pete. There are too many fine people named "Pete" that shouldn't be lumped in with that Onion-believing weirdo.

14. Admittedly that is a problem.
The rest should always use "Peter". Leave "Pete" to the losers.

Peter Frampton, Gabriel, and Rabbit (I'll add Tosh) are fine. We'll have to write Peter Townsend a letter and let him know!
