So who wants to bet the Price of Gas shoots to 4.00 a gallon
by the end/beginning of the week? (that will the "national Average" or the price in Alabama)

Because we all know the oil companies don't need a good excuse to raise prices, someone sneezes in Syria and someone says "God bless you instead of Allah", they raise the price. Now they have a full scale war brewing on the horizon

Any takers on what the price will be by Monday?

2. Won't Go That High Yet
Perhaps if the price goes above $80/barrel, but even in Southern California, I expect prices will top off at about $3.80.

It's pretty close though, and $4.00 is defintely within reach. Perhaps by month's end.

6. And we're only $4 away from $80
The oil analysts have always said that $80/barrel would be the true tipping point, but have usually indicated that $80 barrels are far, far away.

Not so much, now...

8. If gas goes to even $4.00 a gallon, which seems quite possible,
no matter WHAT the economists, news, media, whoever, tell you, the US economy will be experiencing serious stagflation.

13. I'm in the too soon camp
Wait until a big hurricane rolls through the gulf. Gas undoubtedly will be going up, but this fall is when we'll take the big hit.
