Republican Uses Wife & Fetus in Desperate Bid to Replace Frist |
|
Van Hilleary is so desperate to be Tennessee's next U.S. Senator that he has his pregnant wife walking door to door in 90 degree heat! Meredith Hilleary is eight months pregnant. Like Van the Man keeps saying, he is 100% Pro Life. This is family values, Republican style. http://guerillawomentn.blogspot.com/2006/07/hilleary-r-uses-wife-fetus-in.htmlhttp://guerillawomentn.blogspot.com/

1. He's 100% pro-life and he knocked up a white woman to prove it. |

3. Isn't she the one doing it? "he has"? |
|
Is he making her or is she voluntarily doing this? While I may not agree with his politics, I do not understand putting the blame for what she does on him.

I do make the assumption that this ultra, and I mean ultra, conservative is in charge of both his campaign and family. If she is enduring this hellish heat so late in her pregnancy against Van's wishes, well, color me surprised.
I just hope they asked the fetus first.

it's not a fetus. That baby is viable. I hope she carries to term. That kind of stress, in that kind of heat, is bad...

It sounded like he was trying to replace Frist with his wife and fetus.
I'd re-register Republican just to vote for the fetus.

7. In Tennessee, you don't have to. |
|
You'd just have to declare the primary in which you wanted to vote when you went to vote.
But, of course, you'd have to be a Tennessee resident.
:hi:
I'm going to go early vote this weekend - in the Republican primary for Corker, who does the worst against Ford Jr.

10. That darn residency requirement! |
|
You've got beautiful countryside, lovely people, and all-this-and-Memphis-too -- but I haven't had real good luck down there in the past. I think the rural folks can smell the lesbian gene. Or they can detect the faint scent of fruits and nuts (and incense) from California. ;)
On the other hand, the idea of replacing Frist with a fetus really is appealing.
But, seriously...
I wish we still had open primaries in Calif. (We did, for about two seconds, until the Pubbies got their panties in a twist.)
Good for you, C2008! Split that vote! Split that vote! :)

I think Van the Man is the weakest candidate, being widely known as a complete fool and all. But among the hyper conservatives, of course Corker is the despised "moderate." Moderate is a relative term. Corker also claims to be "100% Pro Life."
