Tucker and Sidekick claim Patrick Fitzgerald has become Marcia Clark
Edited on Thu Jul-13-06 04:08 PM by KoKo01
after she failed in OJ Trial and was demoted to having to take low level cases ....said Fitzgerald won a suit for a salad dresser maker who sued two people who changed the date on the dressing bottle or something like that and Fitz won the case.

His sidekick said "...shows how low you can go if Fitz is doing salad dressing and it's like what happened to Marcia Clark.

Okay...here's my problem with this. Why would Tucker and Asshole sidekick suddenly try to make it sound like Patrick Fitzgerald has been "demoted" into having to take crap cases?

Any guesses as to what the Bushies told them in their Talking Points of the day? What do Tucker and Co. know about what happened with Fitz's case that the rest of us don't.

By the way ...it was disgusting and my quotes aren't word for word but pretty much what they said.

1. Maybe
He is just running out of spin and is grasping at straws. When in doubt - Make Stuff Up and see if it sticks. Nobody really takes him seriously and as far as being demoted, hasn't Tucker suffered a few set backs of late?

12. Tucker just took over Dan Abrams old MSNBC "Court Shows" and now
he has TWO HOURS to spew his stuff instead of one. He is "mixing is 4:00 est show" to clone Keith Olberman. The features were: Two headed kitten born, Brittany Spears dissing her husband..is she pregnant or not..followed by the DISS on FITZ.

Dan Abrams was made "General Manager" of MSNBC and had to give up his shows a couple of weeks ago. Dan's dad is "Floyd Abrams" BIG TIME MEDIA LAWYER...and so one wonders about Dan's Dad defending Judith Miller as to how he made the decision to cut "Rita Cosby" and replace her with Tucker in her slot and his own.

17. Did you notice that Dan Abrams was having hoarseness for weeks
before his "promotion?" I think his cancer may have returned and spread and MSNBC had to take him off the air. Of course it didn't hurt to have Daddy Floyd in his corner.

2. Keep In Mind That Tucker's Father Is One Of The People
heading the Libby fund raising scheme. A fact I've never sen acknowledged by either him or MSNBC.

13. Good Point...and Dan Abram's Dad ..Floyed defended Judith Miller for
the NYT's in hte Libby case....so maybe it was Dan (New MSNBC MANAGER) going after Fitz for his father ...Floyd...

Sheesh...this NEPOTISM makes one :puke: doesn't it....I should have thought of that...but I never thought of Floyd Abrams (who did some good Civil Rights Cases as a BUSH BOT who would be like Annie Coulter using his SON to TRASH Fitz."

How low can it go..........:=(

3. It Is Certainly Within their Power to Punish Fitzgerald
now that they have shut down his investigations
and he is no longer any threat to them.

4. Gonzales got to Fitz IMHO.
Not long after the word came out that Gonzo was putting pressure on Fitz, the case seemed to fall apart.

8. Right After Hayden Took Over the CIA
It was the CIA that demanded a real investigation in the first place.
Once they had the CIA firmly under their control, they could shut
down Fitzgerald's investigation, and they did.

15. That was my worry but Fitz got assurance from Comey that he had
FULL AUTHORITY (there was lots of legalize in that) to investigate this because it was a real threat to National Security. Even a Bush Bot Federal Judge allowed the Investigation to go on....

We here on the "Liberal Internets" have been following this with advice from lawyers in the "KNOW" who would NOT have led us down a "garden path."

So....something changed recently with Fitz...does it go back to what Jason Leopold has claimed in "Sealed vs. Sealed?"

'the president is always right'. Fitzgerald caved under pressure from the WH and gonzales. Now Fitzgerald is a lackey.

16. I don't believe Fitz "caved" on this. I believe "sand was thrown in his
eyes" like he said..and he didn't have the enormous POWER that Ken Starr as an "Independent Prosecutor" had because Fitz is only a "Special Counsel" hired by Justice Department.

The "Independent Counsel" status that Starr enjoyed was allowed to lapse by the Dems and Repugs after his case against Clinton. Pat Fitzgerald had only a puny amount of subpoena and other powers...because the CIA which forced the SP was changed after he took over.

I imagine the BushCo. did every trick in the book from their hired lawyers to make sure they could hold "Governmental Unitary Presidential at War Powers" against Fitz that they could throw at him...and with a "compliant Congress" and a "RICO Conspiracy of Lies in this Admin.) they've pretty much sandbagged him from any more discovery. :-(

10. Fitz is definitely a sore point for the GOP. Ha ha ha. It just tells us
to look closer at what Fitz is doing. At this point.. SWIFTBOATING IS POINTING AT GREAT LEADERSHIP.

...And what does Fitz mean to you.. GOP guy "tucker". What why does the fax tree overuse the letter "z"? I'm gonna get some stock in the letter "z" I am!!!

Sign me up. How do I buy the letter "z". I'm sure it will be in great use!! Is Sesame Street selling it?

18. Judy Miller's "Fave" Floyd Abrams SON is now General Manager of MSNBC
what does that tell you about what "MSNBC" is trying to "Spin" about Fitz.

Doesn't it make one :puke: knowing what "THEY" do?

19. I don't understand what you are talking about. I'm still gonna call Vanna
and get some stock in the letter "Z". Cause if Fitz is being swiftobated.. we know where to look for leadership.

20. He's a federal prosecutor and I assume his office is run similar
to what is done in other federal prosecutors' offices -- certain attorneys take certain types of cases. This is a fraud/product tampering case. He's got large cases and small cases mixed, so that the workload on each AUSA is spread appropriately. It's not a big deal and it sounds to me like this is just another smear campaign to belittle Fitzgerald.

Here's an article about the case: http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-salad13.html
