WTF was that on Tucker Carlson's show -- a tribute to Clinton's lying!
Something called "Skirting the truth." I didn't see it from the very beginning. In fact, I don't watch the dickhead's show, but the remote got carried off and the teevee's been on auto-pilot. But seriously, WTF was that? Is Bill the president? Is there some reason he's in the news for his lying about Monica Lewinsky so many year ago now it seems like it happened in a dream state.

"Liberal media" again, kids. MSNBC does an entire "news" segment devoted entirely to reminding us the Bill Clinton was a liar. They even went so far as to play the Beatles "LIES" as background music.

Whew. Good thing president BUSH hasn't fudged the truth on anything! Can you imagine how badly the liberal media would skew a lying republican?!

2. Easybeats? How appropriate
What could be easier to beat than a horse that's been dead for seven years.

3. Great Stragery
What better way to cover the morons lies then to keep mentioning someone else's lies. This has been a GOP tactic for years now.

4. Does he think this is a slow news day or something?
:wtf:

The "Clinton lied about sex" ship has sailed. People don't care anymore. People also don't care about JFK's affairs or Daddy Bush's affair. The world is so insane right now, I don't even care if the rumors about Shrub and Condi are true or not.

If Tucker is still THIS preoccupied by Clinton's affair, then it's probably safe to say Tucker needs to get laid. It probably isn't healthy to fixate on other people's sexual affairs.

6. Carlson is trying to be MSNBC's "Bill O'Reilly"
Carlson's show "The Situation" was a flop. I think MSNBC is trying him out in a new time slot with the same obnoxious format as Bill O'Reilly.
(How sad is that?)

I saw the part of the show where Carlson reviews the taped (call-in) complaints from his viewers. He plays the tape, and then gives his snotty, biased little opinions...and then moves on to the next recorded call. It just reminded me so much of O'Reilly. Carlson has such an arrogant, elitist demeanor that it is easy to despise him even before he opens his mouth.

My only guess is that MSNBC has him under contract, so in desperation, they are going to try to pull some of O'Reilly's viewers over to their side.

(The one thing I remember about Tucker Carlson during Katrina was how he INSISTED on calling the people "refugees". One of his associates pointed out to him that they are NOT refugees....they are American citizens. He replied that he didn't care, he thinks they are refugees and he is going to continue calling them "refugees".)

Well, IMO, I think Tucker Carlson is "scum".....and I will continue to think of him as "scum" and pray for the day when he will be taken off the air. :bounce:

9. I think he's trying to do a cheap imitation of Keith Olbermann...he
has music going in most of his segments and is doing "two headed kitten" stories, celebrity pieces of the weird and quirky...and other "spots" that look like he's trying to rip off Olbermann's style rather than O'Lielly.

It would figure that MSNBC would try to do this. And, it might get a "lowbrow" audience as a rip off/knock off of "KO" but it's pretty disgusting to this viewer who tried to watch him...never having liked him anyway...:eyes:
