1. Love Humanity, hate the humans :)
I believe in the good in people. I have a friend in Afghanistan right now who is excited about helping the people there, especially the kids. To quote from a recent chat we had online (and he does have internet there thankfully): "Man, things were so bad before. They are not the greatest now but at least they have some hope for a better future. It's up to them where things go in the future, but right now it feels good to be helping folks. The people are cool, the taliban sucks and we dodge ied's and bullets a lot here."

If I can find the site he sent me some of the folks there posted some awesome pics from the field.

Overall - most of humanity is pretty good. It's the few with power who use it for themselves that give us a bad name.

Out of 6 billion people I would say most are decent folk just wanting to get by.

2. I Agree... But I've Been Taught (Hopefully Wrongly) That It Only Takes..
a commited few, with the right weapons, to put us all down.

I'm hoping not.

4. here is the quote-
from MLKjr-

"“I refuse to accept the cynical notion that nation after nation must spiral down a militaristic stairway into the hell of a thermonuclear destruction. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final world in reality. This is why right temporarily defeated is stronger that evil triumphant.”

Seems appropriate at times such as these...

3. I'm so right there with you Willy T...
and the M.E. is like the straw that is breaking this camels back-

We are SO lost-..... becoming so bancrupt in the only thing that really will ever sustain the species- more than food, money or medicine-...... And that is compassion, mercy, the knowledge that we are all in this life together- MLK jr said something so profound and wonderful that summed this need up... It esacpes me now, but I'm going to go look for it-

somethings gotta give....

wishing you comfort-
