Is this the big one? (warning pic heavy)
Edited on Thu Jul-13-06 07:59 PM by truthpusher
Just a few of the photo's from today....

God protect the little ones...

Let them know that they are loved...

Tell them that this is not their fault...

It's the little ones that know...

That we are all the same...

2. Horrible situation; a real US President would bring the parties to the
table for peace talks. Bush is probably happy about the events of late.

5. Do you think he is happy because it looks like he might get to play...
...General again? Remember his demeanor when the Iraq war was started... he seemed so full of energy... it's almost as though war fuels him... sick fuck...

6. I'm sure he's gleeful at Israel's banter with Iran/Syria
He's been itching to go to war in those places for a while now.

10. Wrong
This is Israel's problem. I am sick of the symbiotic relationship between Israel and the United States. As far as "a good president would bring these people together..." I think - for once - the twerp in the WH is getting decent advice. They caught Hell for their unilateral decisions regarding Iraq, etc. Why should the US unilaterally solve or "bring together" the warring parties in the Middle East now? They want a coalition of nations to deal with this - maybe having learned their lesson? - and I think that's the right approach. Those of us who bitch about "unilateral action" when it's time to bomb and complain about the US sticking it's nose where it doesn't belong, can't - with a straight face - ask the US to go alone in solving an Israeli-Lebanese-Palestinian problem. I guess what I am saying is we can't have it both ways.

3. Shalom-Salaam
Those words for Peace look a bit alike, don't they? That's because Hebrew and Arabic have common roots, just as the Jews and Muslims do.

Why can't they realize the Truth in these sayings?

Hear oh Israel, the Lord Thy God is ONE.

There is only ONE GOD.

7. Gandhi said it best:
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

Blind from the overwhelming desire for revenge. Blind to the inevitable escalating cycle of violence. Blind to our shared humanity.
