Jonathan Tasini says Hilary responsible for Iraqi and American deaths
http://www.boston.com/news/local/connecticut/articles/
2006/07/13/clinton_faces_her_own_potential_anti_war_challenge/?

"On Thursday, he filed petitions with the state Board of Elections that he said contained about 40,000 signatures and took his toughest swipe at Clinton to date -- holding her personally responsible for the death of thousands of Americans and Iraqis.

"More than 2,500 American men and women will never come home to their families ever again because of Hillary Clinton's vote for this illegal and immoral war," Tasini said outside the state board.

"There's no question the Bush administration is more responsible -- they're the ones that initiated war -- but they were enabled by Democrats. Joe Lieberman. Hillary Clinton. They voted with the administration to send our young men and women to war," Tasini added. "They have to take responsibility for the fact that 2,500 American men and women are dead ... that thousands of Iraqis are dead."

Clinton adviser Howard Wolfson said: "That kind rhetoric speaks for itself.""

Hilary's multimillionaire boys are mentioning Tasini now. Things are heating up.

1. That's some heavy rhetoric
I first thought it must be from a Republican.

3. To attack Clinton, would it matter?
I'm so used to Hillary being attacked by Republicans, I would expect them to be calling her a murderer.

I work with an anti-war republican - are you implying they do not exist?

4. That's not such an odd duck. Depends on if he's a paleo
or a neo.

They're called "Republicans for Kerry"

But maybe this guy is just playing both sides. I'd have to check out his history.

6. Just because Tasini is calling out Clinton for her role...
It doesn't mean he's "playing both sides." There's no history to check. He's a progressive dem. And a really nice fella. He's just serious about the issues and he's not playing games or mincing words.

It is true. Hillary Clinton voted for it, continued to support it, and is partially responsible for it.

8. And she speaks about it as a great thing
I've seen her in person say that its helping womens' rights, which you have to be a huge fan of Bush-level bullshit to believe that.

9. Has she really said that? The invasion of Iraq is helping women?
That is some neocon prop. Saddam. Baath Party. Secular. No Saddam. Islam Fundies. Burkas. The concept that she would say that is horrifying. The last reason we are in Iraq is to help women of all things.
