Poll question: Is the current conflict in Lebanon Booshe's road to attacking Iran?
We know President Cheney/Booshe has weakened our military to the point of collapse. we KNOW they want to open another front on the war on "terra"against Iran.

So answer me this, do you think the Israeli's are Booshe's proxy for (eventually) attacking Iran?

1. He still wants to attack Iran
It is part of the master plan the PNAC has laid out and he is obligated to follow that plan.

2. Good question.
I think it is fair to assume that there are people associated with the OVP who are hoping for more violence to justify their homicidal natures.

3. this so reminds me of 2002
down in the basement, bush* getting the world ready to attack Iraq.

May, June (?) Israel/Palestine goes red hot. In retrospect I always had this strange feeling at the back of my mind that the whole thing was being stage-managed.

Iran are not going to go to the conference table to compromise about their nuclear programme while Israel are bombing their Arab brothers.

bush* and israel are making sure that no inconvenient things happen on their way to bombing Iran back to the stone age.

4. This is a lot like '73. Watergate and the collapse of the Nixon

Administration created the ideal conditions for a reshuffling of the cards in the Middle East and the international oil regime, resulting in a much expanded Israel, the rise of OPEC, and a tripling of oil prices.

We're seeing an effort to repeat that opportunity.

As for whether the U.S. is likely to get directly into another war depends upon what happens with Bush-Cheney. If they're allowed to hang onto power, they're capable of almost anything. It's time for another round of indictments.

5. The rumors of * attacking Iran have all had the scenario of Israel
going in for the bombing for one reason or another and the US supporting them. That way Israel started the whole thing and the US was just helping on of it allies.

6. I am POSITIVE the Israeli's KNOW where where the reactors are
and wouldn't hesitate for one second to eliminate them.

But what saddens me the most are the innocents who again suffer at the hands of the misAdsministration.

7. Israel
likely knows where most, if not all, of the sites are. However, they lack the capacity to take them all out in any intitial operation. For that matter, the US would have a very difficult time taking all of the sites out. This is similar to Cuba, when the military was confident that they could take 90% of the possible sites out. JFK recognized that the remaining sites posed a significant danger. Iran, of course, is larger and better protected than Cuba.

I think that rational people can agree that violent people are raising the risks of a larger war now. And there are violent, irrational "leaders" in a number of countries. The situation is not black and white. What is needed now is for the rational people who are not prone to violence to step up in every country, and remove the reins of power from the violent folks. That's the only action that makes sense today.
