8. OK, the announcement will be made, and the minute the speakers

provide too much logic and background, the networks will find some breaking news about the fires or George to go to.

On the other hand, they are probably going to give it very little attention after today - which is probably good because it won't be a circus and the event can build more naturally. It will be up to any Dems who do get to appear on corporate tv to bring it up.
