Bush says single voice needed from G8 summit ... who?
Headline from story at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,203477,00.html reads:

Bush Urges Single Voice From G8

"Thanks, comrade," I can hear host Vladimir Putin saying. "Do any of the other 7 members or any EU representatives want to be that voice."

The thought struck me rather funny.

1. It -is- funny, but..
.. I think he meant that all eight members should ultimately agree on policy... his.

That won't happen.

He is The Decider - why would other countries think his self-appointed title only applies within the boundaries of the United States? :eyes:

4. I'd love to see Cheney and Putin in the same room ...
After Putin's comment earlier in the week suggesting Cheney's criticism of Russia was just an 'unsuccessful hunting shot.'

Which, of course, Bush laughed off: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2268561,00.html (Good Lord, does he realize they're in public in that picture?)

5. If they were real G8 leaders
they'd take George in the back room
and give him a real good wedgie.
A real skyhook.
