Where did she say that was?

She said there was a mural in the lobby of a gov building that has been on the wall from the 1930's - Present.. but someone noticed it shows a Native American's boob, and they are going to cover it..

What building, I want to find a link to a story on this...

2. oh a nipple
if exposed, it will of course send men into a mindless rut where they will start hunching on anything with legs, like a rabid chihuahua.

Must. Not. Hunch. Monitor stand.

7. I find those offensive, but not because of any nudity.
Because of the way it portrays Native Americans as nothing more than bloodthirsty savages.

The murals, located on two different floors, were installed in the 1930s when the building was the headquarters for the U.S. Postal Service. One in particular, "Dangers of the Mail," by Frank A. Mechau, has been controversial from the start because it displays nude women being attacked by Indians.

The issue attracted the attention of former EPA administrator Carol Browner, who served during the Clinton administration. In 2000, she ordered the murals to be covered, saying they were offensive to American Indians and women.

But the covering was removed at the start of the Bush administration and some of the murals were sent out for restoration by the GSA. "By restoring the paintings, it made the brighter and more vivid to portray their negative stereotypes," asserted Smith.

The mural depicts many images of Indians killing white people and is titled "Dangers of the mail"
The building was originally a post office.
This is a small portion of the mural:

10. Under the pic it says the picture has been found offensive by Indian
employees. Maybe that's why it's being covered.

12. The first triptych resembles Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights
Lord, where is that painting hanging? Better hide it from the Indecency brigade before they try to ruin that one too.

It's hard to believe we're living in the 21st century sometimes.

They've unveiled the Bush Presidential portrait already?
And Rove is in the background?

Yeah, paint over the whole damned thing.

14. For emphasis, I'd like to see museums cover all the nude
statues, including Michelangeo's David, with huge drapes. I think it would make a great point.
