Catwoman, you've snarked on many a thread. But now you're saying people shouldn't snark on something you like? Nah. It's equal-opportunity incivility here & I think there's a kind of freedom in that. I personally don't like it when people make fun of Ohio - but does that mean I feel like everyone should be ordered to stop doing it? No. Everyone will have some pet issue impinged on at some point. Whether that's TO, or their state, or profanity, or whatever. We've just got to live w/people's opinions that we disagree with. I feel like people should have the freedom to support TO, or snark on TO, as needed.

Because they enjoy it, or are still offended by TO, or are trolling. Who knows people's motivations? Lots of people will also post supporting TO & that is their right, as well. I think the line between snarkiness and general assholery is a fine one, and often crosssed on this board. :) I'd say, oh, 40% of the comments here are generally pretty obnoxious. Which obnoxious comments offend often depends on where you sit on a particular issue.

I like to read posted articles for what's within the article, not for comments about the author. It's not like Jason carried water for the bush administration the way Judas Miller did. All that happened was that we got let down by him concerning Rove, Mr. Dirty Tricks himself.

Midori, you just have to know what a horrible temptation it has been for me to go into some of those Leopold/Truthout threads and post "Now we know what ______ thinks." after EACH snarkyass post I see.

It is called the ignore feature and I surely do wish the folks could learn to use it instead of spamming up the boards with the SAME lame repetitive comments being hateful to TO, Leopold, Pitt, Fitz, and anyone else that has at least TRIED.
