Noron O'Donnell and Annie Man Coulter on Hardball discussing Dem Ad
of flag draped coffins.

Could you get a better team of Media Witches to discuss our Democratic ad?

I won't bother you with the details but when MSNBC's "New Programming" has only Keith Olberman reporting anything that has fairness...well you can get what MSNBC under "little Abrams" is becoming.

Hey...I hope they take Fox's audience. Maybe Murdoch will decide to drift leftward when all their standard RW'ers defect to the "NEW MSNBC." With CNN all "Terra" all day long there's a new slot for Faux to fill. :eyes:

Edited on Fri Jul-14-06 04:38 PM by KoKo01
imagine is what they said. It was a "trash the Dems" for the ad from Coulter and Noron said "but didn't President Bush use a flag draped coffin in a Campaign ad after 9/11 and "Man Annie" said.."well if he did it was wrong, the Dem ad is something terrorists would use."

It was your typical Coulter attack on Dems with "Noron" trying to pretend for 5 seconds she's presenting "the other side" while MSNBC shows Bush with flags behind him strutting through an ad (that doesn't show the flag draped coffin Noron mentioned) which only serves to glorify his image.

Since you asked ...I gave you a "snip" but I didn't want to honor those two idiots by posting in the OP what the said...because by now it was what we DU'ers know is the "expected script" from these "Morans." :-(

22. Well...you know she gets into her little "squeeks" where she "peeps up"
trying to work for that "fair and balanced thingy."

She "squeeked up." That's about all one could say. There's a post, downthread, that gives a little more about what "Noron" did to be "fair."

 Noron FAIR..... Without her pretty face she could be Rita Cosby...or working at your local "Swoozies" syruping customers into buying "high end" for their priviledged "Princesses."

5. norah actually called her on the flag ads, saying BUSH used them
in ads of his

Coulter, very disingenuously, said she hadn't seen them, so couldn't comment

Norah, of course, let her off the hook, as she did every single time

a few weak followups (after the usual, long, scabrous rants, followed not by deconstructive questioning, but NEW questions), but it was mostly grins and kissies

7. Well, HERE, asshole, LET ME SHOW YOU--WHY don't they DO that?

And the kicker is, the FIREMEN WERE FAKE.

The controversy over President George W. Bush's new TV ads featuring fake firefighters and fleeting images of the 9/11 attacks threw campaign officials on the defensive—and raised questions about the Bush team's ability to effectively spend its massive $150 million war chest, some GOP insiders say. The president's ad team, led by Austin, Texas-based media maven Mark McKinnon, had carefully road-tested the spots in focus groups, and Bush himself signed off. But the rollout of the ads, which argue that Bush has made the country "safer, stronger," was quickly marred by charges from some 9/11 families that the Bush team was seeking to exploit the attacks for political gain. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4467791

8. that felt GOOD, didn't it?
you have to get it off your chest, occasionally, don't you?

how I loathe those people.....

you know the answer to the question, though, and that's why it's so frustrating

a good interviewer would have called her on that; it was HUGE story during the campaign, and there's no way she didn't know about it. even if she did, she didn't have to SEE the ad to be able to comment on the obvious hypocrisy of any pug criticism.

but, WAIT! she already went ape over the dem ad, comparing it to TERRORISM!

talking about...what does that tell you...yet any lefty blogger can hit their "files" and give the REAL DEAL about the Bushies LIES/PROPAGANDA.

It's so disgusting....one goes past disgust into some other realm of existing without "Whore Media Pain." :puke:

based on her looks. There's plenty to trash talk about when you get into her politics.

I'm sick of women being reduced to how they look and how much sex appeal they have.

so let's get our facts about women who "lap dance" and "whore" their way to the top and not let them off the hook.

I AM a FEMALE...I feel free to observe how other females use their "looks and bodies" to further themselves.

The same is true for the "Male Studs" with "blow dry and enhancement" and much talk about NASCAR and SPORTS.

Let's get REAL HERE....APPEARANCE DOES COUNT...and while we wish it didn't ...on the CABLES that "Q" Marketing Factor SELLS....SELLS...SELLS....

Unless one is going for the "SYMPATHY FACTOR" being overweight and disfunctional does SELL....SELL....SELL on OPRAH WINFREY...but NOT ON HOT NEWS CABLES where IMAGE COUNTS MOST SUPREMELY for RATINGS....

In a "Perfect World" this would not be SO...but even "dumpy" Barbara Star on CNN does need to dye her hair so she isn't "too unacceptable to the "CNN Viewing Audience" who sees her as one of the "oldies" who still "keeps up appearances." And, Candy Crowley does wear nice clothes to conceal her waistline.

37. This line of discussion is offensive to me as well
It demeans all women, not just Coulter. It demeans me.

I honestly don't know what to make of women who want to be judged in their professional careers by whether they've successfully made themselves into what the corporate/marketing industry has determined is a suitable sex object for men to fantasize about. If this is the level of discourse you're encouraging us to have about women, I assume it's how you want to be judged as well.

I'm so far from understanding what would possess any person to talk like this, let alone another woman, that it makes my head hurt a little.
