Look everybody, it's the war president ! |
|
Literally every hot spot in the world is breaking out in violence. Bush threw a war and everybody came. North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Syria, Lebanon, Israel.
Missiles are actually being launched toward Alaska. The cold war, dead and peaceful for years with Russia is now hanging by a thread. The great poo bah touting he was even going to militarize the Mexican border with thousands of troops. Only there aren't enough National Guard to round up and send down there. Pray tell what is Halliburton going to do? They're down there waiting to cash in.
Gas prices soaring to the levels as unprecedented as the deficit borrowing from China and Japan to pay the needy millionaires their tax rebate so they can buy another Hummer. Meanwhile the rest of us get a hummer too.
Isn't it nice to reminisce back to the days of Bill Clinton? When all we had was a competent group of intelligent individuals manning the government. The terror bombing in Oklahoma City solved and prepared for prosecution within days. Only the garage level of one of the Twin Towers could be breached sufficiently to set off a single detonation. Again, the masterminds doing time in prison.
A time when we had a president who wasn't frozen for seven minutes in his chair trying to figure out how to get his feet to work. Meanwhile the Twin Towers, both pancaking to the ground.
Yes, the days when Richard Clarke was reading, studying and actually paying attention to the classified security intelligence he was receiving. And quietly, covertly and without desperation to announce his terror activity successes, had numerous incidents where attacks were thwarted. Delta Forces, Special Ops, Seals and the occasional cruise missiles without fanfare and actually targeted to the right enemy were silently deployed and Americans were able to concentrate on their daily lives.
Yes, George the Bush. War president. Maybe if you have fires burning around you everywhere you look, it's time to look for some firemen, not more arsonists.
It's only four months away. Maybe those of you who still have working brain cells would like to re-think your mistake. Hopefully we might even still have enough of the world left to salvage.

I think that you can mail in an absentee vote that has to be hand counted. You have to check with your local regulations, however.

12. DOESN'T MATTER! If the absentee is counted (as many are) by Diebold... |

absentee scanners. Unfortunately, the same potential voter manipulation exists, and is available if Diebold chooses to steal or simply NOT record some Dem's votes.

8. War is the lazy way out. It's not something to brag about. |
|
Being a war president is like being proud of being a vandal.
Bush needs the fires. Bush welcomes the fires. They make his friends rich.
Bush needs a perpetual war.
But you knew that.
Like I've said at least a dozen times on this forum, the day Bush was innaugurated was the day I said, "Here come the wars".

Merkel just stood there. WTF?
They're creatures. Robots. I have extracted the common denominator of the republican. I know this is all totally OT from the original post. But it's the inability to admit being wrong.

15. and don't forget global warming |

They think if they just don't think about it, it will just go away--poof!
We are already guaranteed a one-degree rise in average temperature; nothing can be done to prevent it--the damage is done. It doesn't sound like much, but it is huge. And if nothing is done, by the end of the century we will be three degrees higher on average. Human history has NEVER experienced temps this high--no telling what it will do to us. Something has to be done now.
