Al Gore told the truth - the White House is lying.
Simple as that. Check the facts. The laws were on the book and Bush came out immediately and admitted to breaking them. He says he had the inherent authority. The truth is he did not. Most experts have spoken on this issue and say that Bush broke the law. Gore was right. Bush broke the laws. The Constitution is under threat until Mr Bush answers for his crimes...

11. wow, you managed a lot of talking points in one short post..
1. dems are guilty too (even though they're not)
2. you can't prosecute repubs because then we'll have to trash
the whole govt., since they're all dirty (I still scratch my
head at this repub talking point: isn't that an admission of
corruption?)
3. dems are to blame for Bush's excess of power. (in short,
its their fault our guys is a dictator wanna be... they should
have stopped our guy...but since they didn't, our guy just
couldn't help himself -- isn't this also an admission of
guilt?)

3. absolutely
I found out today that my apolitical coworker heard Gore's speach and agrees with it! I gave him two CDs of the speech and asked him to pass them around.
