I mean, no one told him about Katrina's devastation to the gulf coast or the flooding of New Orleans for days. Maybe no one has told him yet? Esp since Cheney is hunkered down in his bunker being safe.

If the Bushies hadn't pushed so hard for Palestine to hold elections, maybe Hamas wouldn't have won that election and gained legitimacy and power.

And of course, if they hadn't invaded Iraq (and made such a mess of it) Iran would still have an enemy to worry about and might not be so involved in funding both Hamas and Hezbollah with the aim of destroying Israel.

If Gore had taken office in 2001--the world would be in a whole different place today. The Bushies don't play a very good game of chess.


And all the while: Afghanistan completely back to square one, with Taliban back in control, new fireworks courtesy of Kim Jong Il, and all of us experiencing global warming's effects. What a guy.
