Novakula: Plame Suit Will Be Dismissed
He probably has the inside track:

Now that Robert Novak can finally talk about PlameGate, it seems he's an expert: in an upcoming interview on Bloomberg's "Political Capital with Al Hunt," Novak says that the civil suit brought by Valerie Plame Wilson and husband Joe Wilson against Cheney, Rove, Libby and others will likely be dismissed. Says Novak in the program to be aired this weekend, according to FishbowlDC's Patrick Gavin: " I am sure there will be motions to throw this suit out of court. The lawyers I talk to say that this is a very unusual case, and I think that the Wilsons may have trouble maintaining this suit; not having it thrown out." Novak also said that he thinks that the Nork Times publishing the bank records story was "a much more serious security lapse" than the revelation that "Joe Wilson's wife" worked for the CIA.

1. What a worthless waste of air
He needs to be put on ignore.

I'm glad Fitzgerald let him off the hook, now he can make a total ass of himself in public.

4. He's probably right about the suit...
All they have to do is scream "NATIONAL SECURITY" and everything the Wilson's want to get through discovery will be blacked out.

The same thing happened with Sibel Edmonds. I hope I'm wrong, but fighting the Bushies through the system they control is a waste of time and effort...unless you're trying to PROVE the system is a failure.

Bush might even blanket pardon the whole lot of them. Aside from us, who'll even care?

7. They declassified the information, how
can they now claim national security? Just wondering

9. I'm making an educated guess...
that discovery will be used to try to get information either the special prosecutor has uncovered (which Joe Wilson might have found out through leaks) and/or stuff not in the public record (i.e. not in the group of declassified info).

And do you remember this:

What is to stop them from reclassifying documents pertaining to the case? I mean, aside from Plame's identity of course.

5. LOL, this from a guy who has NO credibility in any area..
Gotta love it. He is so desperately, pathetically trying not to be seen as the totally irrelevant slime-ball he is and, imo, he is failing miserably.

8. NoFacts saying anything has about the same level of credibility as
"Ann Coulter says..." or "The Pretzeldent says..."

There is nobody on the 'right' who can be taken seriously...they've all imbibed heavily of the kool ade and are not in posession of their faculties.
