The chickenshit dems pulled the ad with the flag draped coffins because it upset the criminals?

Rove must be happy about that.

Should be a real boring campaign season if the pukes get to decide what the dems are allowed to say, and then......we will "lose" the fucking elections again.

Unbelievable!

2. This is their way of letting the world see that we DO have a spine

3. That's my take on it.
Once again the Dems have caved. They let the GOP frame the debate. If that's how they plan to run in this election cycle they will once again lose. THe subtext is if they can't stand up to the GOP spin machine, how can they stand up to terrorism. That is how this will be viewed.

Candy ass wimps.

Not all of them, but the ones who made this decision certainly have some explaining to do.

34. What the hell is stupid about showing those images?
Those flag draped coffins are the reality of what the pukes have gotten us into.

They died for a lie and a hoax, but there is nothing "stupid" about showing the images.

Do you mean that it makes the dems look like they are exploiting the fallen soldiers? You haven't really explained your position at all, but merely proclaimed that it is so.

Everything the dems say is vilified as partisan politics by the pukes, but so what? Thats just the way they operate.

Hey, I got a GREAT idea!

Make some campaign ads with dead Iraqi children in them! Maybe a re-enactment of soldiers raping?
Didn't a video just come out with a beheaded US soldier in it? Get that in an ad, stat!

I bet the American voter will just hold the makers of ads like that in the highest regard possible!

Like I said, stupid.

Just PM me if you need any more obvious shit pointed out to you.

6. Please...... I'm so upset by this.
I cannot understand where the Democrats' minds, hearts, and guts have gone!

You don't hear Republicans complaining about Ann Coulter going after the 9/11 wives. You don't hear them being upset the President Bush, the Commander-in-Chief doesn't visit one in-coming coffin. You don't hear them upset by the disrespect shown to veterans when the Bush Administration cuts benefits. You don't hear them upset at the percentage of returning soldiers that are homeless and jobless after their exptended tours of duty. Nooooooooo............ but, a Democratic ad that shows flag-draped coffins is disrespectful?

Karl Rove is Playing this Party like a violin. And our "leadership" is allowing it.

It is all over the place, and people still search it out to see what the commotion was.

Since it has been "pulled" republicans lose their talking point, and everyone still gets to see it.

31. Republicans still have their talking point, and
...they also have that Democrats supposedly agree since they took it down.

Sean Hannity of Fox News has been talking for years about the two ads submitted to MoveOn in a contest which compared Bush to Hitler, even though MoveOn took the ads down as soon as the Republicans criticized them.

Or more recently mocking us with Swift Liars, oh wait, those were totally "independent" of the RNC. The routinely call us traitors and worse, but god forbid we should show a flag covered coffin.

The DCCC will never receive another nickle from me, ever. In fact I had a deal with another DUer involving contributions we were both prepared to make if they showed some fortitude and kept the ad up. I really thought Emmanuel would stand his ground, I guess he reserves all his displays of courage and outrage for attempted bullying of Howard Dean, Christine Cegelis, and the rest of the the radical leftists who endorse the heretical fifty state plan that lets us all participate.

Something is very wrong with our leadership, and if they don't have the backbone that we do then GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY.

27. They pulled one in October, 2004.
Bush TV ad pulled over doctored crowd scene

Stephen Brook, advertising correspondent
Friday October 29, 2004

George Bush's campaign team has been forced to pull a television advert after admitting a picture of the president addressing the troops in Iraq had been digitally enhanced.
The election ad showed President Bush addressing the Republican National Convention before cutting to a photograph of a group of soldiers at a rally in New York.

But the liberal weblog, DailyKos, showed that the same faces appeared several times in several different places within the same crowd shot.
