EXCRUCIATING 'TONY THE IDIOT' ALERT
No other live coverage of the ME crisis this AM, so don't tell me to turn CNN off...

God, it is so painful to watch and listen to him. He is so unready for prime-time...his intonation, his lack of command of the anchor desk, his general ignorance of all things occurring, his feigned wonderment at showing live TV from overseas, his overall naivete and...and...and...he's just plain lost on there.

Most of the dopey anchors are at best neutral, but at worst innocuously ignorant. Fair enough...I've come to expect that...but this guy...THIS GUY is unreal.

It's like putting a 6th grader on TV.

And I can't watch FOX for all this - I ca't stand their people either...that's on principle.

1. He's been bleating about CNN's ability to show live coverage of the war...
...like it's something completely NEW.

He's a nitwit, that's for sure...

2. You are forgiven...
CNN probably has some decent feeds... Mute the sound when it's not.

I doubt there is any real news at all on FOX News. It's been so long since
I've watched it at all. I imagine they're trying to bring about Armageddon
to boost their ratings, wouldn't put it past them.

3. Did you happen to see the live coverage from I think its CNN in England?
I was up about 3 or 4 a.m. and they broke in live from their. Much better anchors over there. I'm sorry I don't remember the anchors name, but he had somebody on from the Israel government who tried to spin his governments talking points about the rocket hit that kill 8 people. The anchor however kept challenging on this and saying things like "didn't your forces just bomb an kill an unarmed group of Lebanese is there an inquiry into that also?" Of course the guy didn't answer and started dodging. The anchor also challenged him on the point they were making that the Lebanese government is supposed to stop the fighting. He asked him how they were supposed to do that when you keep bombing their military forces.

4. Without getting into the I/P issue...
what you're talking about here is an anchor with a 3 digit IQ. I think the International desk is in Atlanta isn't it?

that was the impression I was getting but I could be wrong. Anand Naidoo is his name I think. Tony wouldn't know what question to ask...probably "What did you have for breakfast?" Note that they're having the co-anchor ask most of the questions during the interviews.

7. Hey just found out their international desk is not in Atlanta, but its
national desk is. By the way this wasn't the guy you mentioned that I was talking about it was another of their anchors. I saw the guy you are talking about just a little bit ago and this wasn't him.

6. CSPAN is interesting, going through the list of candidates running
in November. I'm listening with 1/2 an ear, but couldn't tolerate Tony.
