but it never happened.
Instead we got something trite like "Forward Together" or "Together Forward" or something close and equally bland. Shaping and *sharpening* a political message is not what we do best.
I would change the Reagan era 'Are you better off' to the more egalitarian ( and Democratic) "Are *we* better off....".
Either way... the logic is inescapable and the answer is inevitably 'no'.

My debt has more than doubled in the past six years and it`s not from buying things I don`t need,it is from the extra fuel cost up fom 1.00 a gallon to 3.00 my insurance(home owners and garage liability)from $2200.00 a year in 2000 to over $7000.00 this year.I have been buying insuance 32 years the insurance companies have never been out one thin dime on me.

I know what you're trying to say, but simplistic is not the correct way to express it
Reagan/Bush I/BushII/Rove, etal employ simplistic solutions to complicated problems
