What's going on in Iraq?
Here we go again. The media seems to be only capable of covering one issue at a time. The Republicans must be pretty happy to get Iraq off the front burner.

:sarcasm: The next thing you know Cheney and Rumsfeld will be hiding :hide: inside the Iranian border lobbing volleys of missiles into Iraq and Isreal.

BTW, have they busted out them useless "Patriot" missiles yet?

1. I thought of starting a similar thread myself...
This is the time when the sneaks make substantial changes while the world is focused on the media's issue du jour.

2. Just heard that 2 more GI's made the "ultimate sacrifice" for nothing.
But, I'm surprised to hear that the Middle-East conflagration edges out the latest cure for toe-nail fungus, or the doings of Michael Jackson, on our so called "News".

Thank God for the BBC.

3. When was the British "handover"
Seems like on Friday they made a big deal out of a whole province in the south being handed over to the Iraqis by the British and most that most of the British troops in that province have already been redeployed.

Other than that all I've heard is the daily bombings. - Friday even Brit Hume said "some are calling this a civil war". Which is his twisted way of admitting it is.
