Giant Heat Cell hovering over country.

100+ degrees in Minnesota. 117 degrees in Pierre, South Dakota.

Just heard them talking about this on Today on NBC.

3. July Average (not highs) 2005: 70.5 degrees in Minnesota.
According to Noaa: http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/research/cag3/cag3.html

I believe that's what they meant.

2. will global warming turn us into a nighttime culture?
My brother, who lives in a midwestern state, wrote me last night in an email that there wasn't a soul to be seen on the streets in the day but after 11 p.m., the place was rockin'.

4. Did you see where somewhere in one of the Dakotas it...........
.....was 117 degrees??? That was an all time record high, for that area, for as long as records have been kept.

Now, if that doesn't convince everyone that there is something serious to this "global warming" stuff I don't know what will.

5. You're right. I thought I heard it wrong and put 107.
Which is the predicted high in Pierre today. I looked it up and saw 117.

I changed it to 117 in my original post.
