Lots of Dems spoke out recently - which one's remarks went UNSPUN and
were reported accurately by the corporate media?

1. Between Gore, Hillary and Hagin...

...I dunno.

All three were smacked around by the corporate media in the last 24 hrs...

2. I am still in disbelief that some still blame Dems when it's obviously the
media who refuses to report what Dems say and do ACCURATELY or at all in many cases.

5. I've read a few posts in the last 24 hrs that took Gore to task...
...for "running a lousy campaign" and for "not fighting harder" in the FL recount.

I asked if they recalled how the media covered both.

Then, I pointed them to Bob Somersby's Daily Howler archives.

8. I'm one of those who wanted Gore to handle the attacks about the LIES
better. I always thought someone more aggressive could do it.

I didn't think media could get worse for Dems than what Gore went through, but, 9-11 gave BushInc the cover to completely coopt the broadcast media.

They are much worse now, and no Dem will have a chance to define themselves and their message until we expose the GOP control of the media machine.

We either DEAL with it NOW or sit around applauding what WE hear every now and then from our Dem lawmakers, as opposed to what the general public hears on a daily basis.

3. Surprising the corporate media aren't attacking Murtha / 60 Minutes
He was on 60 Minutes Sunday discussing why we must redeploy troops from Iraq. He also stated his belief that most troops would be home before the end of the year (election issue).

I haven't seen any corporate media discussion of it. Kinda surprising given how many politically unaware people watch 60 Minutes.

6. That's the OTHER tactic - ignore important discussions COMPLETELY.

4. Maybe they could dig up Zell Miller for an accurate quote.
Where's Lieberman been lately?
