Bush Shill Bob Novak Telling Unbelievable Lies on MTP
"They" gave him Valerie Plame name/job description in 2003 is on record; now Novak says he got it from "Who's Who in America." The guy is obviously lying for his buddies in * maladministration.

1. I believe that is a talking point
The right has been arguing that for him for a week.

There comes a point when we have to realize that those in Washington are totally disconnected from their constituents (aside from a handful) It seems that few things that we stand for or care about are addressed. Maybe some of it doesn't really matter but wars and being fiscally screwed are very important.

2. He needs to be confronted with the actual text of Who's Who
Nothing in the text states that Ms. Plame was a CIA operative. The fact that it states Mr. Wilson's wife's name is immaterial. The last time he was about to be confronted with Who's Who he cursed, then stormed off set, basically quitting his job with CNN. Why is he allowed to continue with these lies?

4. Timmy Russert has much sympathy for Nofacts...

Bob knew he didn't have to worry a twig that Mr. Potato head would confront him with anything difficult.

When Tim would ask him a question that he couldn't get around he would say something like, "I shouldn't have said that (or said it in such a way... blah, blah"). At one point he said, "I have a bad habit of saying things... ". It was just incredible, making himself look totally disreputable.

The asshole's really, really bad habit is quite simple... LYING!!

3. Didn't someone bring a copy of "who's who" on to the set
the day Novak melted down on camera? I'm sure he has assurances that "THAT BOOK" is never seen anywhere near Bob Novak again.

Maybe someone has details?

6. You are correct.
For this appearance on CNN, Novak actually could not wait to get to the PlameGate segment ... his spin was set up from the beginning, how he would confirm Plame's name is listed in Who's Who ... but I believe he realized it was not going to be that easy, the attack dogs were biting in full force. Novak thought, " ... screw Karl Rove and those other @ssh@oles in the Administration, I don't have to put up with this crap. Let them spin their own crap. I'm outta here. Time for me to kick the crap outta my lawyer, I'm gonna spill everything ... ".

5. What It Said In Who's Who
is that Joseph Wilson's wife is Valerie Plame Wilson. It didn't say "who works as undercover agent for the cia". So he doing that parsing to cover up lying they do. I would surmise that up to that point she was referred to as Wilson's wife and he got the actual "name" from the book.

7. What is a "thumb-sucking columnist"? (I *think* that's what Novak said.)

8. I had to turn it off the minute he started lying. My
mind was already soiled enough with Newt Gingrich lying away, blinking eyes and all, in the earlier segment.

10. He may just as well have gotten her name from a phone book

It's just a directory. Even their neighbors were unaware she was CIA. Everyone knew Joe Wilson was married. They went out socially. Was she supposed to be living in a closet?
