Apocalypse Soon.
Edited on Sun Jul-16-06 11:00 AM by salinen
Welcome to my version of the end. To me, the triad of a ruined environment, great world tensions, and overpopulation will come to a boil within most of our livetimes. Replaced by the predicted declines in the environment, there will be catastrophic collaspes. Whole ecosystems will die. The worlds oceans are in big trouble. It's easier to acknowledge the death of whole systems, than how they might recover, due to the increasing intensification to those systems. As resources become scarcer, or near extinction, there is huge demand for them, sealing their fate.

Soon, the headlines that are presently full of missing blondes, will be replaced with dire news concerning melting poles, mass extinction, and a dead ocean.

And that's when the fear, selfishness, greed, and ego that has been programmed into humans (with a special emphasis on Americans) will shift into pure psychosis. Humans have already decided whose fault it is. Like vessels of hate, they will march to the tune of the same old drummers and seek out the source of their discomfort, with the intent of tearing it's face off. We are seeing this scene in it's initial phase now. The mutilation and death of "others" is orgasmic to these autoresponsive violence seekers.

Now populations will demand war, convinced that the elimination of subhumans will solve everything for them. These wars will further decimate the remaining environment and cause more discomfort and therefore more violence.

What role does the anti-Christ play in bringing about Armageddon? Are the Christians supposed to sit back and punch the air and yell "bring it on!"? It would be fun to me if we could point to their dear leader and show he is indeed the anti-Christ.

4. Earth is covered with festering sores.
"We" keep trying to "elect" Daddy-God, who is Dead, or at least Mortally Ill, to take care of "us".

7. Maybe I am a starry-eyed optimist, but I think it will take longer than
that. Not a whole lot longer, call it 50-500 years for the really bad environmental stuff.

Of ocurse, behind the Televised Curtain of Lies in Imperial Amerika, things will get bad (if these trends remain unchanged) in less than 50 years, perhaps much less.

And when we begin to more closely resemble Germany of the 20s economically, only then we will finally how close to the Germans of the 30s the black heart of Bushmerika has already come.

8. Mad Max! Woohoo!
Damn, you are depressing as hell, you know? Can't say you're wrong. Just depressing.

Pockets of survivors. Hopefully it'll be the enlightened that make it.
