1. what passes for discourse anymore? |
|
Stosell and coulter and the vilness of their being-no morality just hatred of the other viewpoint-is it possible that our media is so sick that it can't vomit out this poison-everyday is more unbelievebale than the next-today the media would give the Stalin show trial and the hitler rants front row seats on the talk shows-"they look tough on terrorism"-what the hell happened?

Stossel would have come to the defense of the flat-earthers if he'd been alive then.
I hope global warming takes his taunts personally.

8. I think the market should decide if the Earth is flat |
|
If enough people want the Earth to be flat, then the market will adjust the Earth to be flat. That's just supply and demand.

5. Use the idiot's own words against him. |

Most Americans would find the idea of selling organs to the highest bidder repulsive. Most Americans think it should be a crime to price gouge for necessities such as clean drinking water in an emergency.
So anytime Stossel's name comes up, make sure to remind people of the lunacy of his views. What a disgusting, vile excuse for a human being.

9. I hope to hell he wants to legalize drugs |
|
There is a strong market for crack, heroine, marijuana. If he doesn't then he is not only a psychopath, he's also a hypocrite. I like a principled psychopath. :sarcasm:

14. He has some valid points about the organs |
|
Everyone makes money off the organs but the donor. That seems a bit on the unfair side. We have chronic organ shortages and allowing families to sell organs for set prices, not the action Stossel envisions, seems to be a reasonable way to combat the shortage. Why not let a family pay for a funeral by selling the heart and lungs of the dearly departed? The increase in cost would be far less than half what the surgery already costs so it is hard to make the case that people who otherwise could have gotten transplants now wouldn't be able to as presumedly insurance would cover the cost of the organ and the transplant or else not cover anything.
