Beer baron Coors loses license for DUI

DENVER - Beer baron Peter Coors' driver's license has been revoked by a hearing officer who ruled the executive had been driving under the influence of alcohol, officials said.

Hearing officer Scott Garber ruled Friday that Coors did not stop at a stop sign on May 28 and was driving intoxicated.

Coors, 59, said he had consumed a beer about 30 minutes before leaving a wedding, the Rocky Mountain News reported Saturday. He faces a July 20 arraignment and has 30 days to appeal the revocation.

"I made a mistake. I should have planned ahead for a ride," Coors said in a statement. "For years, I've advocated the responsible use of our company's products.

8. Nurses know to double the stated intake of alcohol
that any patient makes. If they can smell alcohol on the patient, they can quadruple it.

Any cop will tell you that every drunk they've ever encountered has had no more than two beers, honest to gawd.

12. You are totally correct
99% of the DUI's I made only drank "two beers". Even with blood alcohol contents of .20 or more.

4. I bet it was more than one!
I can't remember this guy, so I don't recall how big he is, but it's highly unlikely that he would have blown over the limit after only ONE beer!

Once again I have to ask...Don't these folks with a high profile and lots of money ever THINK? I can't afford a driver, or to take taxi's everywhere, so I usually drink at home only! If I do go out to a party, I'm never the return driver. These folks sure could afford either a driver or a taxi, but apparently ust don't think they'll ever get caught!

DUMB A**!!!!

9. Well, he's not a BIG man, but he's pretty tall. It would take more than
ONE beer to put him over the limit.

11. Yes, indeed he did
As the republican - they thought he was the only who could beat Salazar, by name recognition alone. Pete Coors is not the brightest bulb in the Coors family either, which the voters figured out thank God
