FOX: Rockets Landing in Outskirts of Nazareth
Much further south than had previously thought possible...possible booster rocket.

Fox expert Major Bob, not happy with Israelis' policy.

Maybe all the DUers who agree should switch over to Major Bob - and Fox...

Better not the newsreader/propagandist just is proffering the Israeli viewpoint. It would piss a lot of people off here...

1. Why even post this?
Isn't the entire situation already fraught with antagonsim?

Why throw out even more bait for argument?

2. OK, you're right...
I admit, why should we even begin to discuss the fact that there will be more and more missle attacks on Israel by Hezbollah, and we might have to reconsider some of our viewpoints?

The fact that Hezbollah has been allowed to flourish in Lebanon by its government, all the while arming itself to the teeth with arms from Iran, from Syria, and God only knows where else, should not be an issue for any discussion, whilst the erstwhile freedom-fighters hide behind civilian targets.

You're absolutely correct and I withdraw the post.

3. You're just looking for an argument.
As if the other 70 or so posts arguing about the situation aren't enough.

Good luck finding it. I won't indulge you.

4. I posted the Bulletin in LBN
It got moved since the mods felt it was appropriate. Fine...I don't ever question their motives. That being said, I wasn't looking for an argument. I was making a point that the attacks were deeper into Israel, which if I am correct, is a sovereign state. I say that because a lot is being made of 'sovereign statehood' here at DU. This is significant IMO.

I did not solicit you personally for a response. You chose to engage. Twice.

7. Hezbollah missiles/Israeli bombs...killing civilians is wrong
regardless of which side is doing it. I think everyone here believes that.

11. I don't think so.
I'd like to believe you, but I don't think that that is true. It's like the girl who says, I like you very much but...

She doesn't have to finish the sentence. Whatever Israel does here, there is a group who says that it's an overreaction and out of proportion and all that kind of thing. When an Arab/Palestinian group does something it's either in retribution for Israeli War Crimes (popular phrase) or justified from years of oppression.

You could say that the same goes in the other direction and you would be right to an extent, but a lesser one in terms of postings here.

6. It's like a food fight in college...
everyone kows it's gonna happen that night...you wait and wait...and all of a sudden there's one chicken piece headed across the cafeteria and then it starts raining food.

14. Actually, I never saw a food fight in the University
Elementary school, yes. Junior high school? Si, senor. High school. Ummmm, not so much. College? Nope.

That said, your analogy - though I'm sure your fond of it - makes no sense to me, probably owing to my material lack of similar experience...

13. No, the poster said farther south than previously thought capable
If they'd been doing it for years, then it would be a fool who would think them incapable of doing it, yes?

15. Locked
As stated, the original post seemed to be posted as flamebait. Please feel free to repost reports on the shelling in a less inflammatory manner.

Thanks for your consideration.
