I found this article shocking. I can't believe they would lead a prayer for the conversion of a Jewish kid at her own graduation ceremony. I can't believe they would yell at a sixth grade kid to take off his yarmulke. Momma thinks everything is about her. Frequently it's not. And if a Christian mentions Jesus, well, that's what Christians do and it's unlikely this ol'gal can convince any of 'em (other than certain Presbyterians) to redo their public religious image to meet the standards of Reform Judaism.
Is the school district going to win? Of course not ~ too many federal judges think they're the Pope, and they're going to decide what is or is not legitimately religious, and what of that is prohibited or required.

Best way to eliminate this conflict is to simply disestablish the public school systems. Let kids fend for themselves ~ some will get educated ~ other will live on the streets as beggars and thieves ~ but none will have been offended or embarrassed when some preacher says "Jesus" in their presence.

They only support the state of Israel because it fits into their whole "Rapture" storyline. They don't care about the Jews at all. Most Jewish people in this country understand this. John Kerry got 74% of the Jewish vote in 2004. Gore won 79% in 2000.

He told me that there is another, more conservative Pres. Church coming along, and that many are agitating in the Pres. CHurch for more conservative policies.
