Important distinction since Abbas' guy is the one who they agreed would go to stuff like the Arab League foreign ministers' meeting under Abbas' authority.

The United States could tell Israel that ALL economic aid and military aid is going to be cut tomorrow unless they agree to a negotiated cease fire -- the bombing would stop pretty fast.

Because the problem is that the U.S. has never held Israel's feet to the fire to make peace with the Palestinians.

I am beginning to wonder about the significance of the pig feast and the many references to the pig. Israel is bombing out the offices of two elected governments. They have captured the elected leaders of the Palestinians.

Three Lebanese soldiers have just been killed by Israeli air strikes.

I smell the pigs, Bush, Rummy and Condi. The timing with the G8 summit and the just wait response to Putin makes me very, very nervous.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — A bomb dropped by an Israeli warplane destroyed the Palestinian Foreign Ministry building in Gaza City early Thursday, witnesses said.

The bomb collapsed the building and caused widespread destruction in the area. The Palestinian foreign minister is Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar.
