Is this a place for talking about things that the left could
do to have more influence in politics?  Some are doing a
crappy job.  This post should have been banned not because
9/11 was looked at from a jaundiced eye.  It should have been
banned because it is nothing but hate.  You can think that and
you can even say it in a group of like-minded members of the
left (those who are even far to the left of the Democratic
Party).  But when you do it in a public forum, where every one
of us knows that Rightwingers and waiting for someone to say
something like was said in the previous post.  If you say,
"I don't care" then you are part of the problem. 
The movers and shakers will not take you seriously if you
distribute stuff like this.

And damn it.  Get a haircut, take a shower and wear a pair of
slacks.  You will not have any influence with the movers if
you look like they did in the 60s.  The media is not providing
only the feelings of the Left anymore.  You say, "It
shouldn't matter.  That just shows how biased they are." 
Well you may be right.  But just think: if even one out of
every hundred people who read this site will make appointments
to see their congresscritters and give off even the pretext  
of being reasonable, interested voters; the collected jaws
dropping of the Right and even a lot of Moderates will be
heard across the country.
