Is anyone watching the Brokaw special on global warming on Discovery?
I just turned in to it an hour late and wondered if it is any good.

But he just said 99.9 scientists saying it is real based on computer models.

1. I think it is very good, and a lot of people will see it that will not go
to a theatre to see a documentary.

3. I just saw Inconvenient Truth this week.
Hopefully more people will see it when it comes out on DVD. That and this show give me hope that rational intelligent humans are struggling to get the message out.

Bush has destroyed so much...please, Lord, don't let him destroy our very planet.

4. I am watching, and it is fascinating
Yes, the facts are now known, but it is good to see Brokaw put it all the pieces together into one big picture. It should be mandatory viewing for everyone.

Uhmmmm, my house is 12 miles north of a bay of the Gulf of Mexico...should I be selling right about now?

6. I live in the Florida Keys IN the Gulf of Mexico on a boat.
But my daughter's house (and their investment for retirement) is one block from the gulf and the ocean.

glad they are not portraying it as a controversial subject. The conclusions are all emphatic and they are highlighting the dangers. I hope some conservatives see this.

On edit: Now I've seen the rest of it. I am even more impressed. A nifty graphic about how much carbon a typical suburban family emits, 50 tons per year, shown as a huge dusty black block hovering over each house in a neighborhood.

9. I have MythTV and am going to record it.
On West Coast it starts at 9:00PM PDT.

I hope it's not one of those bought and paid for by Exxon, etc. "Specials"
I don't think my TV could stand any more food thrown at the screen.

10. No, it's very good, and includes a lot of stuff Gore didn't
have in his documentary. I think the two shows compliment each other beautifully. And Brokaw got a few licks in at bush too. :)

11. It seemed very convincing to me

and I think Limbaaaaagh will bash it, using it to shift attention from the latest evacuation fiasco.
