2. More fodder for the environmentalists who have been trying and |
|
trying to warn us about these major climate changes and disastrous events that we are helping to create.
When will we learn?
BTW: it is 6:34 AM in NYC. I have been watching the ABC news all morning since 5 AM and no mention at all about this tsunami. Wonder when they will finally report on it?

3. When they find an American "connection" staying in one of the |
|
hotels maybe?
No seriously, that really chaps me when they try to somehow "connect" the story to either the state you are in or the U.S. How about just reporting on it?

4. OK, maybe it is a natural phenom and not something that we |
|
contributed to. If so, my rant still holds as we continue to rape and pillage Mother Nature.

10. Climate change has nothing to do with tsunamis. |
|
There is no link between climate and plate movements.

8. A 6 ft tsunami wave is different.. It keeps on coming onshore |
|
It's not just a rogue wave that knocks you over and then retreats..:(
CNN said that the 7.2 earthquake there would NOT produce a tsunami.. guess they are doing their usual bang-up job :)

11. Where is CNN getting this stuff? |
|
They seem to be exaggerating the correlation between earthquake magnitude and risk of tsunami. There have been plenty of 7.0+ quakes in this area since last year that haven't resulted in a tsunami, but that doesn't imply that a quake of that magnitude can't cause one.

14. It's not tall, but it packs a huge amount of energy. |
|
This isn't your typical six foot swell.
