If anyone still harbored any doubts about Bush's intellect...
Perhaps there were a few out there who thought maybe the Gopher King wasn't really as dumb as we say he is. After all, it's pretty common for political opponents to call their opposition stupid. So if anyone thought that perhaps this was all just hype, I offer the following Bushism, caught by microphones when Bush wasn't aware that he was being recorded. He's expressing amazement that it will take some leaders 8 hours to get home.

""You eight hours? Me, too. Russia's a big country and you're a big country," Bush said, at one point telling a waiter he wanted Diet Coke. "Takes him eight hours to fly home. Russia's big and so is China. Yeah Blair, what're you doing? Are you leaving."

3. Wouldn't you like to get into the heads of the G8 participants and
know what they are really thinking about Dimson? I can only imagine what he's really like when the group is discussing technical details of the subjects at hand. I suspect that Bush has much to say and little to contribute.

6. Yeah I just saw this
This guy is so fucking stupid it's just downright strange. Jesus Christ, when the man isn't reading off of cards or screens, he doesn't even understand grade school level syntax. Unfuckingbelievable. How embarrassing.

7. Bush fits the definition of "fool" perfectly.
1. One who is deficient in judgment, sense, or understanding.
2. One who acts unwisely on a given occasion.
3. One who has been tricked or made to appear ridiculous; a dupe.

Apples don't fall far from the tree, and The Bush Crime Family™ Apple Tree is a short one.

8. Many years ago I told people, "Don't vote for this guy, he's just a
50-year-old frat boy." Now, unfortunately, he's a 60-year-old frat boy.

9. He's the perfect President
For the many morons in this country, Bush is a perfect match. The shame is the rest of us are stuck with this dimwit and have to live with the consequences.

The ignorant are blessed in not knowing how bad things are.

10. Someone posted the other day their belief
that the chimp's "pig" comments were a veiled but deliberate attempt to smear Muslims. My reponse was that the poster was giving the chimp way too much credit as he more than likely was completely clueless about the dietary strictures followed by devout Muslims. But he sure as hell enjoys bar-be-que.

I stand by my comments.

The man can't formulate a coherent sentence. He doesn't read. He has no curiosity. He sounds like an elementary school kid in geography class answering the teacher's question, "George, can you name a big country?" "Russia's a big country. Do I get an 'A'?"

If he had been born George Smith, he would only be able to find work through a program that helps the mentally challenged. It's our dumb luck he was born George Bush, member of politically powerful crime family.

15. "George Bush, member of politically powerful crime family"
Dimson is the real life version of what almost certainly would have happened in the Corleone family if Fredo, rather than Michael, had become Godfather after Don Vito's death.

You'd swear he was at an Amway convention checking with his buds so he can share a taxi to the airport.

16. I'm posting this link again..
because I think we need to see Bush for what he REALLY is.

Someone, can't remember who, said Bush is "bright in a feral sort of way." Perhaps that's the reason Molly Ivins says he's not stupid. Part of it, I'm sure, but I and others have been saying for a long time that there's a disease process going on.

Yet another article/thread about it here:

http://smirkingchimp.com/comments.php?op=showreply&tid=320307&sid=26884&pid=320301&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0#320307

"Unlike Alzheimer's disease, nonspecific agitation is not common, nor are hallucinations and delusions. Rather more frontal-type symptoms such as loss of interest, obsessional behaviors, loss of social inhibitions leading to social improprieties may be prominent. There may also be mood disturbances in frontotemporal dementia; depression, anxiety, and somatization are not uncommon. Those individuals presenting with language involvement usually have fewer behavioral symptoms, but often have striking impairment of ability to express themselves (primary progressive aphasia) or less often impaired understanding of language (semantic dementia)."
