I keep waiting for
the grown-ups to take over the world situation. But I believe, if there are any, that they are AWOL. We have been subjected to only turmoil and chaos in the last 5 years. We have had a loud-mouthed, unbearable person thrust upon us, first by the Supreme Court of Dunces, then by rigged voting machines, and God only knows what is in store for us in the next elections. I do not know who was the first one to rain havoc down on countries in the Middle East, but they are all bullies. Our supreme leader has taken sides and won't back down or do anything constructive. Every time he opens his mouth he is either spouting canned rhetoric or stuffing it with food while saying bad words that we would chide our children for doing. We have come to the I'll double-dog dare you type of government just about everywhere. At the G-8 meeting they are all posing for their celebrity photos and mouthing off but not doing anything. Bush wants someone else to step in and take care of it while he steps in something else. My reasonable suggestion is to send a contingent of grandmothers over there to take control of the situation. They have the experience dealing with children and grandchildren and know where the hickory stick is kept. I also feel we should recruit grandparents to run in the next elections. Talk about experience! Something has got to give. We can't continue of the downward path. We are almost to the end now.
