110 degree heat index, humid as hell, and I just saw
a new suv rolling down the street with all the windows rolled down, and suppoert the troops and a red white and blue ribbon magnet sticker, and some kind of bumper sticker I couldn't read. I wonder if 3.00 a gallon gas had anything to do with it.

2. Something I learned recently
I now work full time as sysadmin for a Chevy dealer. The people who can afford suv's usually have another vehicle that gets reasonable millage for that commute, and also these folks don't give a shit about he price of gas unless it goes to $4. Why, because this plateau of $3 has been a test, and the stupid lemmings accepted the price point so it will never go down.

6. You know, the problem is many of those people
who pay $3 a gallon (or more) can afford $4

I know a lot of people that can't afford $3.

It will go to $4. It is capitalisim, unchecked.

It is one hell of a fix we find ourselves in today.

Joe
