4. I love CNN's headline though |
|
"The sh*t heard round the world . . ."
It's so loopy anyway. Food in food out; good grief, anyone ever change a diaper? Why we think there's something "offensive" about that particular waste is beyond me. Piss is also a biological byproduct, just like blood, sweat and tears, yet somehow we have this social convention about human dung as being "profane"; it's just biological waste. I wouldn't say that I have any fondness for it by any means, but one word describing it is no more or less "foul" than any other word.
We are SUCH prudes - some day some anthropologist is going to just SHIT himself laughing at us.

In times of crisis it's important to choose words carefully.Unfortunately we have a petulant child as our "leader" and everyone knows it but him. What an embarrassment.

I don't know what is more disgusting: him using the word to incite more American hatred; or, him talking with a mouthful in the face of PM Blair, talking shit, and inciting more American hatred around the world.
He is an appalling, despicable, Neanderthal!

isn't allowed? I hate Bush just as much as the next guy, but aren't you guys and the Media going a little bit insane? It's just a word, and I'll bet everyone has said it at one time or another. Duckie

Edited on Mon Jul-17-06 04:14 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
 I'm so confused. This is just melodrama. I hate him too, but come the fuck on. He has taken more dignity out of the WH than ANYONE, but him saying shit had nothing to do with it. Maybe we should be focusing on the fact that he's rewriting laws because they don't suit him, or the war we're in that is probably going to be the cause of WW3. Him saying shit is a minor offense... But Truman didn't run on the premise of "bringing Honor and Dignity" back to the White House and making sure the "Adults were back in charge."
