Cheney: "Either we are serious about fighting this war or we are not"

http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctimes/news/politics/15059141.htm

<snip>

"Either we are serious about fighting this war or we are not," Cheney told an Iowa audience in his first visit to the state since the 2004 election.

...

The vice president singled out Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., a decorated Marine who has pushed for a timetable for withdrawing Americans from Iraq.

"That's a bad idea. That proposal is contrary to the national interest," said Cheney, who contended that it will be more difficult to defend the country if such a step is taken. The vice president stressed that troop strength would be dictated by conditions on the ground "and not by artificial deadlines set by politicians in Washington, D.C."

9. Either we were serious about fighting in Vietnam, or we were not...
I guess Cheney wasn't serious about *that* war since he chose to sit it out like a pampered overlord/coward.

And now he lectures US about this shit! You couldn't make this stuff up it's so insane.

10. Who is that coward to question John Murtha? Unreal.
Cheney is just like all the other RW cowards that yap about what patriots they are.

I guess a flag lapel pin and a yellow ribbon makes you a war hero, eh Dickless?

12. Pretty much sums up how they do anything

They were serious about starting the war, but not about supplying enough troops

They were serious about fighting the war, but not personally sending their family into harms way

They're serious about paying for the war, but not with their tax dollars

They're serious about supporting the troop, as long as that means magnets on the car and not more benifits and armor

They're serious about catch Bin Laden, as long as that means him walking into the front door of the white house and giving up and not actually looking for him.

Either they're serious or they're not. Guess which one it is today. The republican war cry.

20. We're not.
"We" never were. "We" were dragged into this war against "our" will to begin with.

That royal "We" thing doesn't sit well with me. Make that:

I'm not. I never was. I was dragged into this war against my will to begin with.
