MSNBC reporter says people in Tel Aviv acting like nothing is happening
Walking their dogs, jogging, going out for dinner, etc.

I thought this was a wide scale war going on with everyone hiding in their safe rooms?

Why don't they just bring all the Americans who want to leave Lebanon to Tel Aviv? I think its only about an hours drive.

2. Tel Aviv is slap dab in the middle on the coast
They haven't fired off a rocket that could hit that city yet.

7. Sending the Americans to TelAviv doesn't make much sense
even if TelAviv is safe from rockets, the idea of sending our citizens from one country that's involved in this mess to the other country that is involved in this mess would be insane.

As for the people living in TelAviv...I don't know. I would probably try to live my life like normal too for as long as I could.

9. The people on Berlin largely lived normal lives in early WWII.
Besides when the Allies managed to drop a few bombs on the place, after which Hitler started the Blitz.

11. So much for those "Iranian" rockets that were supposed to be in range.
Long-range Iranian rockets my ass.

As for taking the Americans to Tel Aviv, they'd have to drive right through the area that the Israelis are currently reducing to ash and gravel.
