If CNN does not get rid of "Headon" as their sponsor i will shut it off |
|
to take a break in all the craziness, i thought we all could ridicule CNN some more. I cannot stand that damn commercial, it gives me a headache and keeps playing over and over, all i want now is an advil liquid gel.

4. a commercial for this product called "headon" |
|
and the way they do it is say "Headon...apply directly to the forehead" and repeat it 3 times over and over then say it can be found at your local pharmacy. It has been on all day over and over...its awful.

I know--the commercial itself gives you a headache. It's like it's purposefully "B-grade" commercial (kind of like the Clapper) and as annoying as possible. If they're going for brand familiarity/name recognition they've done a great job of it.
Still hate that commercial, though.

6. Is it supposed to be funny? |
|
It looks like the owner of the headon company hired his kid to do the ad. Really irritating. Too bad you can't fast forward through live news.

7. ahhh, but the trick is, |
|
the only way to get rid of the Headaches caused by said commercial is to apply HeadOn directly to the forehead.
The commercial creates the need for the very product it sells. Quite a vicious cycle and a brilliant ad campaign.

I've been boycotting CNN for two years, and I have never been better informed. Yes, it was hard at first. I had been addicted to cable news for at least ten years, and watched it for hours every day. Now I never even think about it. Freedom!

26. I stopped watching CNN and all the rest in 2001 |
|
Other than a handful of exceptions, such as 9/11, I have kept at it and never looked back. CNNMSNBCFOX is something that watching it almost makes your stupider, hypnotized.
I read the newspapers, they are about the best functioning part of the old post-WWII American Free Press. I read the internet, but always with my bullshit filter on high.
