When was the last time things were this bad in Israel?

I was born in 1969 and I can remember a number of times their was conflict in Israel with it's neighbors however I don't remember how bad things had become in those conflicts.

How does this conflict compare to past conflicts?


I am staying neutral on this conflict. I think both sides have made a lot of mistakes.

...what the question is: basicly, "Israel" is doing just fine, compared to the aftermath of the '67 war; problem is, it's the Palestinian's who are doing exponentially worse. I think it may have something to do with 39 years of military occupation by somebody or other; might want to look that up.
