W.House likes idea of Condi for president

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House likes the idea of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice running for president, even if Rice herself keeps saying no.

At a time when Republicans like Arizona Sen. John McCain are openly pondering a run for president in 2008, Rice's name keeps popping up at the White House.

On Tuesday, when White House spokesman Scott McClellan was asked when the United States would have its first woman president, he noted Rice had just returned from the inauguration of Liberia's first woman president.

"But I'll avoid going there because I think she's made her views clear. But I have my personal thoughts about what a great job she would do," McClellan said.

1. Well, to quote Snotty McMuffin
If Condi wants to be their voice of the presidency, we welcome it.

12. Why would they? She has accomplished nothing as a political
leader, had repeatedly lied to the American people and basically has simply been a Bush shill.

3. Oh please lord let her run
and please let the current administration endorse her. Even the most spineless Democratic candidate could tear her apart for the many errors, miscalculations and flat fuck ups she has been involved in. Not to mention the lies that seem to just roll off her forked tongue. She is our dream candidate.
