Bush reading My Pet Goat once again as leaders plead for ceasefire
Always late. As the situation deteriorates by the hour, President Bush is still reading My Pet Goat. As American citizens are being herded out of Beirut, we hear nothing from the President. I suppose he will send Condi over there as soon as she is finished shopping for shoes? How difficult can it be to ask for a "ceasefire" that might save hundreds or thousands of lives? Where is the leadership that is needed to stop this insanity?
