Bush Military History Project #28
Edited on Tue Jul-18-06 10:41 AM by exlrrp
This is being written as a journal in democraticunderground.com and crossposted on Dailykos and Myleftwing.
I urge readers of this series to obtain a copy of Unfit Commander by Glenn Smith, the only source of Bush's military papers in chronological order. Where internet references are not easily available I will give page numbers of this book for reference.
I also urge readers to become familiar with the report by Lt Col Gerald Lechliter, published in the NY Times, available at: http://www.nytimes.com /....
Or Google: NY Times Gerald Lechliter. I will be referring to both of these sources in this study.
Many, many Thanks and an Airborne salute to Marty Heldt and Paul Lukasiak and his AWOL Project: http://www.glcq.com /

"When I was young and irresponsible, I was young and irresponsible." George W Bush

Journal entry 28

Thanks to the most recent poll attached to this study, I now get that 36 out of 37 respondents agree with me that Bush and Co altered Bush's military records. And the 37th was uncertain. That makes my job a lot easier. Because once you understand that, the rest starts to fall into place. Go to the next step: Now you understand that the reason that they didn't officially investigate the CBS Papers is that it would uncover all the fraud, falsification and missing documents. And that's whether the CBS papers are forged or not.

Of course, that's where all the evidence points and always has. So why has the media never mentioned this? Why has the media never mentioned the completely obvious?

Like Bush HAS to know whether the CBS papers are real or not. And so do his aides

And that the CBS papers have definite ties to Bush's posted military papers and that was kept hidden also? The CBS suspension order represents an order that was written and signed by Col Killian on August 1st 1972--and is missing from Bush's files. That suspension order is the most important document in Bush's life, even as of this moment. If the Public ever find out that it's the one that Killian gave to him orally on August 1st, 1972, then Bush's goose is cooked, along with many other people involved in this scandal.

And Bush himself knows that its missing from his records. He HAS to, just like he knows it existed. He talked to Killian about it on August 1st and Killian no gave him a copy of the original order. And that's the beauty of this story: all the other Bush era scandals, like Plame, Katrina, etc all stopped short of proving Bush's direct involvement. Bush and Co have put layers of "deniability" between Bush and his responsibilities. But not this one: this scandal walks right into the Oval office and sits down on his lap like an intern getting friendly. This is Bush's Monica. Because this is about what Bush knows, and he knows all about this: because It's about him and things he did do (and didn't do) although they've gone to great lengths to hide it.

This is how much America's been snowed: CBS held an "investigation" to try and authenticate TXANG documents when the TXANG never did!! And the media just nodded their heads, wrote it down, and pretended that was normal. Maybe they were giving out official White House tote bags that day.
One of the reasons that the Left so completely dropped the story when the MSM did is that no one (but evidently the humble undersigned) ever understood how incriminating to Bush and his superiors the CBS papers are if real. Put that down to the extensive media Dog and Pony show which America was treated to instead of an official investigation.

The Implications of these papers will shoot Jet Jockey George down in flames and in addition cause the greatest scandal in TXANG history, an organization that is no stranger to scandal. A lot of TXANG leaders would see the inside of a jail cell, their careers destroyed. Bush's credibility would forever be destroyed and his "honorable discharge" publicly ripped up. History would know him forever as "Lyin' Georgie"
A delicious thought and a goal well worth pursuing is what the BMHP thinks about that.

If the CBS papers are real they prove serious crimes in Bush's documents in more than one way. They show part of the process by which Bush was fraudulently given an honorable discharge. They prove a conspiracy to falsify documents among his superiors AND they show documents that are missing from George Bush's records. If the two orders, the physical order and the suspension order, are real, they should have been in Bush's files. Theyre NOT! That would mean someone removed them. We have a lot of testimony about this, some of which we've referred to, much of which we will be covering further.

There's two main issues in Bush's paperwork: Missing documents and falsifications. That's why they can't have an official investigation of the CBS Papers, any official investigation will have to cover these. That's why they had to get the CBS papers story shut down immediately and without an official investigation. They CAN'T have an official investigation--and that's their greatest vulnerability right now. What are we waiting for, America? Democrats? They're still as vulnerable as ever here, if anyone besides me ever decides to attack. At this moment, I don't foresee it happening--but it still could!. But if I've managed to convince 36 of you that there's falsifications and missing documents in Bush's records, at least its a start

Its further amazing that almost any part of this story, completely outside the CBS papers authenticity issues, can still come back and nail Bush. One of these is the abslolute, drop dead fact that BUhs HAS to know whether at least the two orders ar real. Nd that means so do his aides. Imagine the impact this information would have had on the story as presented in Sep 2004. If the media had bothered to pioint out that Bush HAD to know whether ther papers were real or not, think how much this story would be different.

The media should have been clamoring to know the truth and asking the right questions like: "Is this the suspension order you DID receive from Col Killian on August 1st, 1972?" And: "Were you or were you not, YES or NO, ordered to take your physical?" Need I say, if Bush was a Democrat, the MSM would have stuck to this story like glue.

But instead the MSM allowed Bush's aides to claim they had no way of knowing whether the Papers were real or not. And Bush himself NEVER made a direct comment about his own record. These are the people who have control of ALL federal agencies and in fact are conducting the "War on Terror" If they can't even find out whether official orders about the President of the United States are real, what chance do they have against Osama ben Laden?

This is not an issue of competence (although that's there too)--its an important issue about the government that's supposed to keep us safe evading their duty to investigate and prosecute fraud and forgery involving federal papers.

Part of the problem is that not even the "investigative authors" like Boehlert and others get the whole story right. There's major errors in his book and every other book Ive read on ths topic. ANY book that deals with this subject that doesn't uncover falsifications in Bush's records is off base. And none of them do. Any book that doesn't mention the federal character of these documents and its importance is off base, misses the whole point--and the whole scam. And none of them do.
Here's an example from "Bush's War for Reelection" By James Moore, an otherwise important book ojn this subject.

(Page149) " August 15, 1972, the day that Richard Cunnare and Chuck Dean were shot down in Vietnam was a a difficult time for George W Bush too. Word had reached him that verbal orders had been issued suspending him from flight statues in the National Guard...."

Waaaaaidddddammminnnit!!! This is wrong. We have a document stating that George Bush received verbal orders of his suspension from his Cmdr (Killian) suspending him from flying on August 1st. Verbally means Killian told Bush that he was suspended either face to face or over the phone on August 1st. Bush didn't "hear about these verbal orders" later the orders were GIVEN to BUSH verbally on August 1st.

What Moore, and others try to have us believe is that George Bush decided to go to Alabama and was waiting for the orders to catch up to him. HUH?? That's not how anybody in the military will remember it, For everyone else, you got the orders first and THEN left for the next place. You didn't decide you wanted to quit flying and go play politics in Alabama, go there and then "wait for your orders to catch up." Not even Elvis got this kind of treatment.

But that's not the way the military was for George W Bush. We'll be talking more about this special treatment in the next installment of the Bush Military History Project.

If you think this is important topic, then the author would appreciate a recommend. Thanks
