The Chickenhawk Cronicles. |
|
At least the congressional Chickenhawks are reliable.
They shirked their responsibility when it was their turn to go to war, and expect it to others to pay the price.
They shirked their responsibility for fiscal management of the federal government with huge tax cuts for the rich, and expect others to pay the price.
They will tell you they love "the rule of law", but deem the judicial branch as "activist" or irrevelant. They shirk their responsibility when it comes to following the law, yet expect others to pay the price.
It is always one rule for them, and another rule for someone else.
We saw this in the medicare debate (holding the vote open for hours). We see it in the executive signing papers. We saw it with Limbaugh's drug defense. We see it with congressional outrage of the searching of Jefferson's office. We see it with their pay raise, yet failing to support an increase in the minimum wage. We see it in Bill Frist's "blind" trust.
It is the utmost of hypocrisy... and the modus operandi of a chickenhawk

Conservatives don't want to pay taxes for anything at all, even for the barest of necessities. Yet, they'll ask other people to give their lives proudly for their fake war.
