Once again the religious right falls for B*sh's "aid" to their cause

The coming veto of the stem cell bill was not for them. It was cover for republicans with stiff challenges for reelection to be able to vote for the bill if they think it will help them. Before his re election he straddled the fence on the issue, had to have cover for his reelection, now he doesn't have to worry about that. Bet if it comes up after '08 it will get as much thought from him as a bill naming a post office in Wyoming after some long term employee to him.
