but there was also the time in the late 70's that McDonalds came out with a piggy bank in the shape of a trash can. I think their motive had to do with promoting an anti-litter campaign, but as inflation was running around 16% at the time you have to wonder. I did not get one. I always regreted that, it would have made a nice collectable.

They're "99.9% PURE SILVER... clad proof", or in other words 99.9% pure crap metal plated in the thinnest layer of silver possible. They say "clad" really quickly. :) Only $19.95 while supplies last!
